AUTHOR’S NOTE: For the last nine years I’ve keep my charges for online tarot, Lenormand and horary astrology readings roughly in line with my face-to-face sessions, even though it takes quite a bit longer to write everything down in a report than it does to deliver it orally across a table.
I even tried raising my rates just a little in 2025 to account for the extra work, but this overall approach yielded very little client traffic among seekers who have become conditioned to the $5-and-$10, app-driven (and now AI-generated) online reading, so I decided to scale everything back while still offering professional value at a lower cost. I have no intention of trying to compete with the social-media crowd, so I’ll continue asking for reasonable compensation for the time I spend doing it (even though my wife tells me I’m still under-charging . . . by a lot).
