Another “Tweaked” French Cross Model: A Situational and Positional Profile Spread

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Here is another adaptation of my “tweaked” version of the French Cross spread, this time to address a client’s specific relationship matter.

It features a horizontal, four-card “situational” axis, the middle pair of which I’m calling “adaptive response” cards that suggest necessary adjustments to the querent’s behaviors and attitudes. (They should be interpreted as reactive to the adjacent “situational” and “positional” (aka “motivating factors”) cards.) The vertical “positional” axis includes an “external factors” card above and an “internal factors” card below, respectively showing explicit and implicit drivers. The “numerical essence” card at the far right is calculated from the face values of all six cards and reveals the projected consequences of any actions proposed by the narrative. This card and the two “adaptive response” cards are key elements in resolution of the situational and positional cards. All cards should be dealt in the order shown, and reversals may be allowed for additional nuance.
