Eddy Segall, a then-28-year-old Nashua, NH woman, was reported missing on June 15, 1977 and hasn't been seen or heard from since. https://www.wmur.com/article/new-hampshire-unsolved-case-file-what-happened-to-eddy-segall/26716667 Using the Joie de Vivre deck, I performed my "World of Hurt" missing-person spread to see what it might tell me about her past and present circumstances. I ran the spread twice, … Continue reading Where Is Eddy? – A Missing Person Reading

The Joie de Vivre Tarot
Paulina Cassidy's second deck has been described by some reviewers as "child-like," an impression that is explicitly touted by the wording on the box, leading to the assumption that it is light-weight and not suitable for answering serious questions. This is an older deck, first published in 2011, that never caught my eye because my … Continue reading The Joie de Vivre Tarot
The “Ivory Gambit” Spread
Lately I've become fascinated with using dice and tarot in combination to produce unique forms of divination. Here the gambit (opening move) is provided by rolling dice to identify four trump cards to serve as the basis for the reading. Those trump cards are then used to extract four sets of "reading" cards from which … Continue reading The “Ivory Gambit” Spread
A “Deck’s Agenda” Example Reading
Last week I did a Lenormand 3x3 spread for an acquaintance who is being considered for a new job at a different company. Although prospects looked good for him, the situation hasn't come to its conclusion yet, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to test this tarot spread. I have since learned a … Continue reading A “Deck’s Agenda” Example Reading
A “Spiritual Release” Example Reading
This was an interesting exercise because I have been on an esoteric spiritual journey for over four decades, and count myself among the 37% of Americans who consider themselves "spiritual but not religious." I used the Radiant RWS for this reading. All images copyright U.S. Games Systems, Inc, Stamford, CT Card #1 - "What I Know" (The Footing): … Continue reading A “Spiritual Release” Example Reading
2019 Super Bowl: Rams vs. Patriots
UPDATE #1: The Rams won the toss, so even though they deferred possession until the start of the second half, I'll stick with my model and predict a win for Los Angeles. UPDATE #2: The anemic scoring envisioned for the first half proved to be prophetic, and the half-time score was even lower than predicted. … Continue reading 2019 Super Bowl: Rams vs. Patriots
“Two-Out-of-Three” Spread Tutorial Layouts
A Facebook conversation led to the recognition that it would be a good idea to post some example pictures of how the various card chains would play out. I posed a hypothetical question: "How will this business initiative work out?" and selected the 3 of Wands from the Albano-Waite deck (Deck #1) as my Significator. Since … Continue reading “Two-Out-of-Three” Spread Tutorial Layouts
National Football Conference Championship: Saints vs. Rams
Update: The NFC championship game is over and the Rams won. The two things about this reading that were accurate were that the decision did come down to the final seconds, and the Rams did reassert themselves at the 11th hour by forcing a sudden-death overtime. Interestingly, my prediction for the Chiefs-Patriots game hints that … Continue reading National Football Conference Championship: Saints vs. Rams
American Football Conference Championship: Chiefs vs. Patriots
Update: Well, now, as sportscaster Howard Cosell used to say in his trademark nasal whine, "How about that!" It turns out that Death reversed did in fact signify a sudden-death overtime, and the Chief's Hierophant reversed did mean they "didn't have a prayer." My scoring projection was on the low side but the overall complexion … Continue reading American Football Conference Championship: Chiefs vs. Patriots
Update: “Changing Gears” Reading
On September 1st of last year I did a reading to assess our chances of finding another home to buy in eastern New Hampshire after our first deal fell through. https://parsifalswheeldivination.wordpress.com/2018/09/01/changing-gears/ The outcome card for that reading was the Chariot as quintessence; it predicted that we would be "on the move" and would likely succeed … Continue reading Update: “Changing Gears” Reading
